Position Summary
The Crisis Service Program partners with law enforcement, first responders, and community providers to deliver trauma-sensitive, person-centered crisis intervention, de-escalation, assessment, support planning, and connection to community resources for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises.
These positions provide outreach, follow-up support, crisis stabilization, and coordination of care for children, adolescents, adults, and families in community-based settings.

Schedule
  • Full-Time opportunities available
  • Flexible and variable shifts, including evenings and (every other weekend-required)
Pay Range
$23.00 – $28.00 per hour

Essential Functions
  • Respond to community crisis and emergency calls.
  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, assessment, support planning, and referrals to resources.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, dispatch, hospitals, and community agencies.
  • Provide follow-up support and coordination of care.
  • Utilize trauma-sensitive, person-centered, and zero-suicide approaches.
  • Develop safety and crisis plans as needed.
  • Initiate Chapter 51 and Chapter 55 actions when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in outreach, briefings, and collaborative response efforts.
  • Maintain required training and compliance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field required.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience or training in crisis intervention preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws related to crisis services.
